Vintage Merita Bread Lone Ranger Sign This 1954 vintage Merita Bread Lone Ranger sign is said to be one of the most sought after pieces of advertising among collectors.  An original in mint condition can bring as much as $12,000 at high-end auctions.  Experts say its vibrant colors, subject matter and deep embossing make it valuable.  I spotted this one inside a booth at Renningers Antique Market in Mount Dora, Florida.  While the owner was asking a hefty sum for the sign, it looked to be a reproduction.
